For anyone in need of an updated volcanic spread map this metoffice images may be the answer. They are updated every 6 hours.
Here are the four images showing the spread for today. It has reached the eastern borders of Turkey (where I am now) with a recent upwards inclination. This shows that I may have to cancel my flight plans :\
